Woman's View:  Day by Day
Luke 22:14-19  When the hour had come, he sat down and the twelve apostles with him. And he said upto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with  you before I suffer; For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kindgom of God.  And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves; For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.  And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you; this do in remembrance of me.  Like wise also the cup after supper, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
Mark 8:34-38  And when
he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.  For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his father with the holy angels.
Matthew 6:6-15  But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thye closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to they Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.  But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do; for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.  Be not ye therefore like unto them; for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.  After this manner therefore pray ye:  Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  They kindgom come.  Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil; for thine in the kingdom, and the power and the glory, for ever.  Amen.  For if ye forgive men their trepasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive y our trepasses.
Deuteronomy 6:4-9  Hear O Israel; The LORD our God is one LORD; And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all they soul, and with all they might.  And these words, which I commanded thee this day, shall be in thine heart; And thou shalt teach them diligently unto they children, and shall talk of them when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.  And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.  And thou shalt write them upon the posts of they house, and on they gates.
The Bible directs us how to honor our LORD, how to pray and how to seek His face. Let's be about His business everyday!
The prayer shawl helps me to stay focused
 when reading scriptures and praying.
It is
letting the enemy know to whom I belong.

My prayers and my tears are remembered...
I will enter into HIS presence wearing my tallit...
Our LORD  sacrificed Himself  for you and me  because HE loves us.  We can honor and remember Him by having communion in our homes, as well as Bible study, worship and prayer.
The Mezuzzah has a place in my home. When I pass through my doors, it reminds me and brings comfort knowing that God is my protector!  It is a symbol of that very thing. It is generally an ornamental case that contains a rolled up scripture from Deuteronomy 6:4-9. It is to be placed on the door posts of our homes as a reminder that God is there protecting me in my coming in and going out. I acknowledge this by touching it and thinking on this promise...
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.     2 Timothy 3:15  And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Bible Study, Communion & Prayer
Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it Holy!
We can recognize the Sabbath by a candle lighting ceremony that includes prayer and remembrance of our Heavenly Father.

No, I wasn't born Jewish and I haven't converted to Judaism.
But,  I am a joint-heir with Jesus, having been adopted by my Father in Heaven.
He honored the feasts and holy days so I can, too.  In remembrance of Him!
Sometimes I honor this special time of Shabbat by breaking bread and sharing wine as in Jewish tradition.

After all it is a happy occasion in God's presence and one he commanded.  No, I am not under the law.  But, I have found greater intimacy with HIM when I remember the Sabbath and keep it holy!

Shabbat Shalom means
"May you be restored to wholeness on the blessed Sabbath!"
LIGHT THE CANDLES!  Blessed are you, Lord, our God, sovereign of the universe Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to light the lights of Shabbat. Amen

BLESS THE WINE!  And on the seventh day God completed his work that he had done and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it because in it he had rested from all his work that God had created to do Blessed are you, Lord, our God, sovereign of the universe Who creates the fruit of the vine Amen

BLESS THE BREAD!  Blessed are You, Lord, our God, King of the Universe who brings forth bread from the earth. Amen

BLESS THE CHILDREN!   SONS, May God make you like Ephraim and Menashe.
DAUGHTERS, May God make you like Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah.

BLESS OTHERS!   The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face to shine on you, and be gracious unto you, and be gracious unto you! The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace! The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you Shalom!

It's a party!  These are some parts I include, but if you explore the internet you will find there are many traditions that can be included in the Shabbat remembrance.
Shabbat is meant for resting in the presence of GOD!  It is a time to recall the story of creation! It is a time meant for freedom from any regular work.  It is a festive time for family and friends to honor GOD!
Romans’ Road to Salvation ~ The Way through the Scriptures

Romans 3:23 ~For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.  Romans 3: 10-18 ~ As it is written: None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one. Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive. The venom of asps is under their lips. Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; in their paths are ruin and misery, and the way of peace they have not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes.  Romans 6:23 ~For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8 ~But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9 ~that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:13 ~for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.  Romans 5:1 ~Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Romans 8:1 ~Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:38-39 ~For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The words of a prayer that follows will not save you. It is only by faith in Jesus Christ are we saved.
Here’s an example of what you might say to God.
"God, I know that I have sinned against you and deserve punishment for my sin. But I understand that Jesus Christ took my punishment on the cross. I place my faith and trust in You for salvation believing the Word so that I through faith in Jesus, can be forgiven. With your help, I trust for salvation. Thank You for Your grace and forgiveness and giving the gift of eternal life to me! In Jesus' Name, Amen

Hi, I'm Monica and I've been saved by the blood of Jesus Chris for over 50 years. I grew up in the church and knew about  God, but I didn't know him until I was a 20 year old mother of two precious souls. The journey begins with salvation and I pray that you will gather the information you need on these pages to help you to your destination of Heaven in time to come. It's sooner than we can imagine...
