Walk with me...

I used to think that I had an unusual life filled with disappointment after disappointment and that everyone else had a good life. I was always longing for something better and envious of others. The older I got and the more people I got to know made me realize that we are all very much alike. Everyone has moments of elation and moments of despair. But it seems like we all tend to focus on the downs and negatives that we experience and hardly remember the ups and positives.

The point is this, we live in a world where we want everything to be better. This is true when you can walk through any bookstore and read the titles for self-help books. The categories are never-ending; depression, co-dependency, job & work related issues, meditations, grief, communication and relationships issues, parenting, male and female selections, family and friend issues. The question is always how can I get ahead or how can I do better? Who would think we had so many problems?

The truth is, our solutions to our problems are more simple than we tend to make them out to be. There are usually several choices when facing a problem or issue and our choice of solution can make it either more frustrating or solve the problem.

Think about this for a moment. Let's say I accidently bumped a bowl of corn flakes on the kitchen floor. I could get all bent out of shape and dig out a big old vacuum cleaner to suck up the mess, or I could grab the broom and dust pan and do a quick sweep. If I use the vacuum cleaner, it probably wouldn't pick up everything anyway. So although the vacuum cleaner is supposed to do the job quick and easy, the broom and dust pan works best. So why do we think that lugging out other people's cleaners and cures is the best remedy for us?

Ahhhhhhhhh... it's because we are looking for an easy way to solve problems.

Believe it or not, I have found the answer. The main thing that I have to remember is that I don't have to solve the problem. I'm to give my problems over to GOD.

When I learned how blessed I am then the answers came. In Christ, I realized that I am a powerful person because I'm a joint-heir with HIM. I am a channel for HIS blessings. HE sees me coming and going and HE knows when I go to the secret place to be with HIM. This time alone strengthens me and I can hear HIS revelation to me. I am nothing without HIM. HE calls me out of darkness and problems and HE fights my battles if I let HIM. The major road block is me. When I stand in the way then GOD can't get through. When I pick up the self-helps then I'm not acknowledging that GOD is able.

This is so simple that it's difficult for the world understand. We are so used to solving problems today and the world expects us to do it and leave GOD out. GOD will fight your battles if you are a child of HIS. If you don't know the LORD JESUS as your Savior, ask HIM to save you now. HE is waiting to save you into his family so that you will live eternally with HIM if you will only believe. Then HE will teach you how to depend on HIM. It's a journey, a path that leads us into righteousness; HIS righteousness because we are not right without HIM.

Take time to walk with HIM... and HE will talk with you...

Do a personal Devotional Study... Find and sing praises to HIM daily... Take time to pray...

Heavenly Father,

I ask a blessing on this site

that it grow and be an enrichment to fellow-believers that it be a help for the weary

who don't know your loving kindness.

May they desire to know you. May their eyes and ears be open to the truth. May their hearts be ready to receive you. May their minds be ready to learn of you. May their feet and hands be ready to go where you want them and serve where you will them.

May they be filled with your Holy Spirit.

I command in the name of Jesus and by His blood that any stronghold that comes against this site,

be broken and cast down

in the name of Jesus

who has already paid the price.

What must I do to be saved?

Let the Holy Scriptures guide you...

As the Scriptures say, "No one is good-not even one. No one has real understanding; no one is seeking God. Romans 3: 10-11

For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard. Romans 3:23

When Adam sinned, sin entered the entire human race. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everone sinned. Romans 5:12

Yes, Adam's one sin brought condemnation upon everyone, but Christ's one act of righteousness makes all people right in God's sight and gives them life. Because one person disobeyed God, many people became sinners. But because one other person obeyed God, many people will be made right in God's sight. Romans 5:18-19

For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with our mouth that you are saved. Romans 10:9-10.

For anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13

There is no need to wait for this gift of salvation. It is freely given to anyone who will receive it.

Call upon the name of the Lord today.

And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Luke 19:9-10

knowledge of the Lord.

Ask the Lord's guidance

and then follow where He leads you.
